Angela Smith is a Partner at SLF Lawyers who has over 12 years of experience in commercial litigation during which time I have focused predominantly in practice areas of property, strata, debt recovery and insolvency.

She is passionate about achieving results for her clients and willing to face the challenges of litigation head-on.
Some of her time is spent teaching with the Australian National University in their post-graduate law courses where she enjoys enabling the next generation of lawyers.

Being fluent in Italian has also enabled her to assist clients and mentees from a non-English speaking background in resolving their legal disputes and navigating their way through the legal system.

Julie Hyam Elliott is a Company Director, entrepreneur and leading Business Growth Strategist. She holds numerous Board positions including Australian Invoice Finance and P & N Bank. Julie has previously held roles as the CEO of Bank of Sydney (only the second Woman to run a Bank in Australia) where she increased profits by 88% and numerous executive roles in major Australian Banks.

At the same time as developing her Corporate career, Julie was the first woman to Chair the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board (Melbourne) and State Trustees (Victoria). 

Lisa Sweeney is CEO of Business in Heels, daily she works to fast-track women on their journey. She has 4 1/2 years of small business experience and well understands the transition from corporate to business owner.

Her expertise includes strategic planning, marketing, expansion through digital marketing, she is a strategic connector.

Her background is 25 years of corporate buying experience with expertise in strategic planning, sourcing, online retail,  negotiation and she well understands the hurley burley of a corporate career.

She is passionate about making a difference for women & on a daily basis works to find solutions to levelling up the playing field. This year having launched mentoring, access to new women’s professional indemnity & superannuation solutions.

 

Amanda Tay has worked in the finance industry for over 18 years, and currently oversees the NSW Small Business division for National Australia Bank. In addition, Amanda is a trained Executive and NLP practitioner, served on many community boards, and champions or chairs several women’s networking events both domestically and internationally. 

Amanda has navigated her leadership team through tough restructures and changing economic environments with top tier results. She boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge that stems from her commitment to growing through adversity.

One of Amanda’s greatest joys is helping women develop critical emotional, business and leadership skills to thrive in their environment.

Kylee Anastasi is a Partner in PwC’s Infrastructure and Urban Renewal practice and has over 20 years’ experience working in Australia and globally. She specializes in developing complex infrastructure programs and projects that require innovative planning, procurement, delivery and financing mechanisms.

Kylee has also spent a large part of her career overseas, working for PwC in the US where she supported public, private and not-for-profit clients in leveraging innovative financing and partnership models to develop and procure major infrastructure projects. While overseas, Kylee also worked with international investors and multilateral development institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank on infrastructure programs and capacity building in emerging markets.

Since joining PwC Australia in 2017, Kylee has advised state and local governments on major infrastructure and urban renewal projects across Greater Sydney. She is also a lead partner for PwC’s National Cities Agenda, which develops cross-sector solutions to address critical issues in our cities and communities.

Kylee is based in PwC’s Sydney office and she currently works a flexible and part-time schedule, allowing her time to focus on raising her twin baby girls and 8-year-old son.

Janelle Gonzalez is the CEO of Blue Toto, which she built from start up to being Australia’s second largest mobile automotive repair network in 6 states and with 2 divisions.  Janelle has 17+ years in executive product and marketing roles in blue chip finance and marketing companies globally, specialising in disruptive business models.

Janelle’s proven experience building marketing and tech platforms in growth markets shows her capability as a disrupter.

Tanya Doyle is Managing Director for Kinnerton Confectionery Australia and is responsible for ensuring the business brings innovative, quality & affordable chocolate and sugar confectionery brands to Australian and New Zealand consumers whilst at the same time ensuring that the business remains profitable and continues growing.

With over 25 years of experience in Sales, Marketing & Business Development of Consumer Goods throughout the Pacific Region Tanya is true strategic marketer who has a passion for building brands with a strong focus on driving profitable growth for the benefit of all parties. 

Her expertise is being able to identify market opportunities, create clear and measurable strategies to deliver against these opportunities, take them to market and then close the deal.

When she’s away from the office Tanya enjoys hanging out with her husband and two children, shopping, keeping fit and healthy and of course eating chocolate!

Jodie Bruce-Clarke – Confidence Expert she is Co-founder of RiSe Women is a business dedicated to helping women build their confidence, stand tall and achieve by teaching them that confidence is not something that only ‘lucky’ people have – it’s accessible to everyone! The right information, practical techniques and the will to do (and be) more, is all you need. The greatest joy in life is speaking to women about techniques to increase their confidence!

Robyn is the Founder/CEO of Sweep – the world’s first AR community-based shopping app and Best Shopping Innovation finalist at the 2019 Finder Awards. As Managing Director of AR Technologies, she was responsible for building the 2018 Vivid app in partnership with Destination NSW.
Robyn is a judge of the 2020 Telstra Business Awards, and previously judged the 2017 and 2018 Telstra Business Awards, 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards and Mumbrella’s Publish Awards for five years running.

Jo Martin has worked in the fast moving consumer goods industry in Supply Chain and Finance for over 20 years, including Campbell Arnotts, Ferrero and more recently Kellogg’s where she is the National Logistics Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Jo is passionate about empowering women in the workplace and seeing them succeed, and it was for this reason that she created Own Your Road, to help women in male dominated industries have the courage to go after what they want, and be confident enough to get their voice heard so that they can achieve the leadership role they’ve always dreamed of on their terms.
