Calling all business and professional women, this is your chance to access and explore the power of Mentoring. Wednesday 13^thNovember 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Geelong Yacht Club.

Business in Heels, supported by the Geelong City Council is excited to bring you a Summer Evening Mentoring Session over a glass of wine.

Are you a woman in business feeling confused, stuck or unsure of your future.?

Feeling overwhelmed in business?

Or are you an ambitious professional wanting to overcome roadblocks or explore new directions to succeed?

Mentoring is proven to fast-track results. Today 50% of women get no mentoring and yet we know it makes a difference and here are just a few of the facts.

• Mentees are promoted 5 times more often than those without mentors (Source)
• The UPS store in the US conducted research on mentoring in 2013 and found that small businesses who receive mentoring significantly increase their chances of surviving past those first five years. Their data showed a 70% survival rate, which was double the rate of those who didn’t receive mentoring support.

Come along for an hour and be paired with an experienced mentor. Have a coffee and a chat. This is a mentoring taster. You will be able to share your challenges and dreams and in return you will receive a different perspective that may open you up to new possibilities.

If you think you don’t need a mentor – you probably do! We all are great at providing advice/coaching others but don’t take heed of it ourselves – having that mirror reflected back is really good to just take a moment and reflect on where you are going and what it is you want to achieve. The cost is $20 for members and $25  for non members including a glass of wine you do need to register so we can be sure we have the right number of mentors & mentees.
