Empowering women owned & led businesses

Regional WE Connect Forum

Are you ready to take on the big end of town?

Are you a woman in business dreaming big and ready to do business with corporates?

This is your opportunity to ensure you are ready, learn about their needs, and the resources you will need.

Wednesday 15th September is the Big Deals in Heels Workshop

It is a workshop like no other drawing from 20 years of corporate buying experience & presented by Lisa Sweeney.

We will prepare you to do business with corporates. This is a day of interaction resulting in you really understanding the needs of corporates and in anticipation, you will develop your pitch for each corporate ready for the Forum. Learn from the panel discussions and other successful entrepreneurs who have existing corporate partnerships. Then you will have plenty of time to refine & develop your pitch for the different corporates in attendance.

On Thursday 13th October 2022, WEConnect International will hold its Regional Forum online. This internationally recognized event brings together female entrepreneurs & business owners from all over Australia, representatives of multinational corporations, government agencies, to discuss women’s economic empowerment, business growth, and supplier diversity and inclusion.

Unique in its kind, this forum will provide you with an opportunity to pitch your business to around four or five corporates. Eash session is twenty minutes allowing you the chance to build relationships. The aim is to foster business connections between corporations and women-owned businesses while exchanging key information about market opportunities and business strategies.

If you are a women business enterprise interested in growing your company or if you are a representative of a corporation that seeks to make its value chain more diverse and inclusive, you cannot miss this opportunity to learn and exploit everything that doing business with women-owned companies can offer.

In order to pitch you must be a WEConnect certified business, this means 51% must be women-owned & led. Currently, less than 2% of global supply contracts go to women-owned & led businesses. The corporates in attendance have KPI’s to change this but require certification so they can do business in confidence.

Certification takes at least 7 business days to complete and you have plenty of time to prepare prior to the focum on 13th October.
